The council authorized a contract not to exceed $50,000 with Balu (Balu Construction LLC) to extend pavement on Bridal Avenue so a new home will have road access.
City engineer Lawrence Turner told the council the project is approximately 200 feet of pavement-width extension and is limited to pavement work, not drainage: "It's strictly pavement on driving surface on," Turner said. Council approved the contract and the work will proceed at the location identified on the map staff provided.
