Board members asked whether the pitched shingle roof should be included in the scope; Haley and others said the bid covered the flat roof portions, that a pitched-roof inspection could be done by the awarded contractor or consultant if the board wanted, and that including the pitch would require additional pricing and likely an additional appropriation.
