Commission discusses a citywide Poetry Month project for children linked to Mosaics Project

Members suggested recruiting an author or educator (Sarri mentioned children's author Leslie Bullion) and agreed the idea would likely fall under the planning and projects subcommittee for January consideration.
Commissioners asked staff to add ‘‘Poetry Month ideas’’ to the January agenda so members could return with concrete proposals, leaders and possible classroom or venue models for participation.
