City staff presented the third and final reading of a rezoning request known as the Wren, a development proposed on about 5.78 acres north of SE Ashworth Road and east of Grand Prairie Parkway. The project is a single building with four towers, each four stories tall, sitting on top of an underground parking structure to provide roughly 80 active‑adult living units.
Staff said the request is consistent with the Kettlestone master plan and recommended approval of the third and final reading. The council moved and voted to place the rezoning on final passage and the item passed with members present voting yes.
