Tooele City Council approved multiple invoices and purchase orders during the Aug. 5 meeting. City Recorder Shiloh Baker presented items including $75,000 to Evan Johnson for shares of Middle Canyon Irrigation, $48,400 to Ferguson Waterworks for backflow prevention meter retrofits, and three vehicles from Ken Garff West Valley Ford: a 2026 Ford F‑150 for a utility technician ($45,015), a 2026 Ford F‑250 with service bed to replace a water‑department vehicle ($65,334), and a 2026 Ford Ranger for community development ($37,780). The council approved the invoices and purchases by a 5‑0 vote.
Baker also presented Resolution 2026‑55 to declare a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500, previously seized in a criminal investigation and forfeited to the city, as surplus property to be sold through a public sale with proceeds distributed in accordance with the applicable court order and Utah law; council approved the declaration 5‑0.
Council also approved minutes from July 15, 2026. No public comment was recorded on these items at the meeting.
