Tooele City Council approved Resolution 2026‑60 to contract with JUB Engineers Inc. for administration and construction management of the 2026 water reclamation facility upgrades. Public Works Director Nathan Farr described planned upgrades to the solar dryer and UV disinfection system and said the work will be part of an approximately $8,000,000 sewer treatment plant project; the JUB agreement for design/administration is just under $500,000 and will be rolled into the municipal bond package.
Council members commented that the price stayed just under $500,000; Farr said the contract will be included in the bond financing and come out of that fund. The council voted 5‑0 to approve the agreement. No public comment was recorded on the item.
