The council ratified Resolution 2026‑53, approving and modifying the agreement with Judge Netting Mountain West to supply and install custom netting on 17 newly installed wooden poles at Ochre Hills Golf Course. Parks and recreation director Darwin Cook said a February storm destroyed the east side of the driving range and the city purchased poles and contracted Rocky Mountain Power to install them; Judge Netting measured the site and will manufacture a custom net that incorporates guy wires and site specifics.
Cook told the council the city solicited bids and received only one from Judge Netting Mountain West for $92,930, a vendor the city has used before. Fabrication will take about four weeks with a target to have the driving range reopened by Labor Day weekend. Council voted 5‑0 to ratify the earlier approval and proceed.
