The New Milford Village Board approved a group of routine financial and procurement items at its Aug. 13 meeting. Trustees voted to pay bills totaling $65,207.86 and approved the Compass Minerals quote for 450 tons of salt at $92.08 per ton for the 2024–2025 season.
Other procurement items approved included a DPI Construction quote for additional tree removal at Victory Park for $10,096.45 and an amended FastSigns quote for village entrance signs (increased to $24,768.12). Several minutes and agenda approvals were carried earlier in the meeting by voice vote. The board also reiterated that Clerk/Treasurer compensation remains tabled for committee consideration.
