New Madari Elementary principal Brianne Bolstad introduces herself to the board

Brianne Bolstad, beginning her 16th year in education and 12th with the district, said she will lead Madari Elementary and highlighted experience across Brookings elementary sites and a master's from SDSU.
Dr. Schultz introduced Brianne Bolstad to the board and public as the new principal at Madari Elementary. Bolstad said this will be her 16th year in education and her 12th year working in the Brookings School District 05-1.
Bolstad described prior roles at Hillcrest, Dakota Prairie and Camelot, said she has worked across preschool through fourth grade and served as a teacher on special assignment, and noted her master's degree from South Dakota State University. "I'm very excited. The opportunity to lead with an amazing team," she said, and added she looks forward to collaboration across K–5 principals and staff as the year begins.
The superintendent and board thanked her for coming and welcomed her to the district leadership team.
