Board approves bridge priority resolution to pursue state bond funds

Staff noted construction timing, staging and DNR in‑water restrictions; "This is gonna be around a year," the highway official said when describing the larger bridge project and the need to stage work to keep traffic moving through town.
The board moved and carried the resolution so staff can submit bond applications. Commissioners discussed pursuing available stream‑work waivers and coordinating timing with DNR ramp projects where possible to reduce total construction time and cost.
