PlayCon’s general manager briefed the council on the company’s workforce and recovery strategy during consideration of resolution 26-R-42. Company GM Mike Nielsen said PlayCon grew rapidly during a supply shock, peaked at 105 employees and later shrank; the company was currently at 82 full-time employees plus 22 temporary associates and said it was actively hiring to meet its approved headcount.
Council asked whether temporary agency workers could be counted toward compliance; staff explained that full-time jobs are measured for CF-1/CF-1-R compliance and that temporaries generally do not count toward CF-1 full-time counts. Council nonetheless voted 6–2 to find PlayCon in substantial compliance, with members citing investments and ongoing hiring efforts.
