The commission approved several infrastructure contracts during its Aug. 4 meeting.
The board voted to award Agreement 26-46 to Holloway Bridge and Culvert, Inc. for structure and approach grading on two county structures (PCN 09GT and 09GU). Highway staff described the item as final paperwork to formalize the award.
Commissioners then approved short-form agreements with Banner Associates Inc. for construction engineering services on the two structures. Highway staff said the state will pay 80% of the engineering service and the county will pay 20% for one of the items.
All contract motions were approved on roll call with affirmative votes from the commissioners present. Highway staff indicated Holloway will perform much of the work and listed anticipated timelines and contractor names for related paving and culvert projects.
