Planning Manager Wendy Hodges presented the third and final reading of a text amendment to Articles 6 and 11 to revise parking standards for B3 and related districts. Hodges said no substantive changes had been made since the public hearing but staff added information the mayor had requested regarding special exceptions for parking.
"No changes have occurred in this application and ... we included additional information," Hodges said, explaining staff added material to the staff report at the mayor's request. A motion to approve was seconded and the roll call recorded affirmative votes; the ordinance passed on final reading.
The text amendment will adjust how parking is regulated in the referenced districts and allow staff and applicants to proceed under the revised standards once the ordinance is codified.
