Planning commission member Eric Stahl resigns after relocating from Wellington

Mr. Byrd told commissioners he received a letter of resignation from Eric Stahl, who has relocated outside Wellington and is therefore no longer eligible to serve on the Planning Commission or Board of Adjustments.
"He has relocated outside of Wellington and so no longer being a resident. He is no longer eligible to serve on a board or commission," Mr. Byrd said. Staff said it will work with the town clerk to post an advertisement for the vacancy, allow time for applications, evaluate candidates, and then advise the board on a recommended appointment.
No hearings or interim appointments were announced during the meeting; staff reminded commissioners that attendance will be important while the commission operates with one fewer member.
