District cites early ACT gains, celebrates National Merit winner

District leaders reported early, raw ACT results they described as ‘‘exceptional’’ and credited AI-adaptive testing tools and multi-tiered supports; the board also recognized senior Laura Kwan as a National Merit Scholarship winner.
An administrator presented early ACT data and attributed positive results to intentional data-driven shifts, multi-tiered systems of support and an AI-adaptive testing program that provided juniors districtwide access this year. The presentation credited staff leaders for implementing supports and said the adaptive tool prepared 100% of juniors this year.
The board also celebrated Laura Kwan as a National Merit Scholarship winner. The administrator explained how the PSAT/NMSQT pipeline narrows to finalists and winners nationally and congratulated Kwan on the award.
