Williamstown Select Board elects leadership for the year

At its March meeting the Williamstown Select Board elected its chair and vice chair, approved routine warrants and made several commission appointments. New board member Cody was welcomed during the organizational session.
The Williamstown Select Board opened its March meeting by taking up leadership positions and routine organizational business.
A member nominated Larry Hebert for chair and the board approved the nomination by voice vote. Afterward the chair welcomed a newly seated member, saying, “I wanna welcome Cody to the board.” The board then nominated and approved Clayton Modler as vice chair by voice vote.
Beyond leadership, the board approved meeting minutes and multiple warrants, including payroll warrants for pay periods listed in the packet. The board also confirmed its regular meeting schedule — second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Public Safety Building — and reaffirmed official posting places and the town’s Facebook page and website for public notices.
The organizational session included routine appointments to commissions and committees and a brief discussion about adding the town YouTube channel for informational posts. No controversial objections arose during the organizational items, and motions were carried by voice votes.
