City to switch agenda software; press conference set to announce Centennial season

City Administrator Ryan told the council the city is moving to a new agenda-management software to reduce manual work and improve how residents search council packets.
"Currently, it's a bit of a manual process," Ryan said, adding that staff hopes to complete the transition in March. He said the software should improve packet formatting and provide reminders for public notices and deadlines.
Ryan also announced a press conference at the Hy-Vee Amphitheater at 10:00 the next morning to announce the city’s first Centennial season of events and said performing acts would attend portions of the announcement. "Our team is pretty excited, to make those announcements," he said.
No formal action was required for the software transition or the events announcement; staff said residents should watch local coverage for details.
