Committee readies October historic-house and cemetery tours, seeks more docents

The committee reported progress on the garden and walkway being built around the memorial stone and scheduled an October 10 historic-house tour, cemetery tour and scavenger hunt. An Eagle Scout project will add a garden and walkway around the memorial stone; committee members said the stone is on order with a 6–8 week expected delivery.
Lisa Turcotte reported that 40 docents have committed and the group needs a total of 60; Turcotte will coordinate ticket booklet production and meet with volunteers after the July 4 holiday to finalize staffing and marketing.
