Chair John Bartlett outlined the parade logistics for July 25: eight floats plus a grand marshal, elders and Book Committee participation, with committee members carrying banners in front of vehicles. Vehicles and floats will stage at 9 a.m., and marchers will begin at 10 a.m.; two buses will be available to shuttle participants and CERT will staff water stations.
Committee members discussed facilities and access: the Town House will be open and Church on Hilltop may open for restroom use; the REC Department was asked about a possible Bike Brigade and Janna Morrissey has discussed staffing with Susan Woodworth. The group scheduled a Police & Fire coordination meeting at the Kingston Fire Department for July 6 at 4:30 p.m. to finalize public-safety details.
