Scott Cutsforth referenced the Monticello 2040 Comprehensive Plan's emphasis on sustainability, community health and sense of place and said a data center would not align with those commitments; Cutsforth urged the Council to rezone the proposed site to prohibit data centers.
Council did not take formal action on the rezoning during this meeting; the comments were entered into the record for Council consideration alongside the city's planning work.
