Steger honors Village Administrator Mary Jo Seehausen on retirement after more than 30 years

The board adopted a proclamation recognizing Village Administrator Mary Jo Seehausen on her retirement after more than three decades of service to the Village of Steger. Clerk Joseph Zagone read the proclamation; Trustee Perchinski moved to adopt it and Trustee Kaminski seconded. The motion passed by roll-call vote of the trustees present.
In remarks to the board, Seehausen thanked trustees and staff for their work and longstanding relationships. "I would like to thank the board. It has been an honor to serve this Village for more than 30 years," she said, adding she preferred to "see you later" rather than say goodbye and praising the village staff as "stellar employees."
