Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations Eric Diehl reported Dec. 18 that repairs to the clock tower roof at Steger Intermediate Center were completed over Thanksgiving break after storm damage earlier in the year.
Diehl also recognized the Maintenance Team (led by Anthony Graziani) and the Village of Steger Public Works—including Public Works Director Roy Stone and Mayor Joyce—for winter-weather preparation and parking-lot work at district buildings. Diehl said DLA Architects ran stakeholder engagement sessions at Steger Intermediate Center and Columbia Central and that walkthroughs of each building are the next phase; a formal report will come to the board in a future meeting.
