Trustee Deanna Rodgers reported she has put up signs advertising a Santa and Grinch meet‑and‑greet on Dec. 7 at Village Hall; refreshments and gift bags will be provided for attendees. The board agreed that Trustee Dan Wolf would install lights on the village tree, weather permitting.
Trustee Eileen Owens said she has begun a review of village ordinances to bring them up to current needs and the minutes note that Jim Stevens's office will prepare final ordinance text for the record after review. Trustee Ronald Colvin updated the village sign to include a Thanksgiving message and information about the Santa and Grinch event and is getting a quote for a new laptop to run the sign programming. Trustee Wendy Roop reported she spoke with Darryl Stevens of United Sanitation about obtaining a handicap‑accessible portable toilet for Victory Park; United Sanitation had none in stock but provided a vendor that could build one to the village's specifications and Roop is awaiting follow‑up. The village has secured a menu and reservations for the Christmas party on Dec. 10.
Trustee Julie Wagner had no updates at the Nov. 26 meeting. The items in the trustees' report were recorded as informational updates and next steps for staff and trustees.
