The Village of New Milford board on Jan. 14 adopted four ordinances annexing agricultural properties (Ordinances No. 2025-1, 2025-2, 2025-3 and 2025-4) after Attorney Jim Stevens presented the measures to the board. The motion to accept was made by Wendy Roop and seconded by Deanna Rodgers; all present voted in favor and the motion carried.
The board also reviewed and adopted Ordinance No. 2025-5 pertaining to the clerk’s office. Deanna Rodgers moved to accept the clerk ordinance and Eileen Owens seconded; the motion passed with all votes in favor. Attorney Jim Stevens led the review; no recorded dissents were noted during the meeting. The ordinances were taken up during the regular agenda as part of the attorney’s presentation and were voted on at the same session.
