The Starksboro Selectboard convened a special meeting on Aug. 10, 2026 at 5:34 p.m. in the Town Clerk’s office. Koran Cousino called the meeting to order; board members Eric Cota, Koran Cousino, Tony Porter and David Schmidt were present and Carin McCarthy was absent. Amanda Vincent, town administrator, and Steve Rooney, zoning administrator, were also present.
The board approved three motions recorded in the minutes: (1) approval of a Right-of-Way permit with conditions and amended insurance coverage amounts (motion by David Schmidt, second by Eric Cota), (2) signing a Tax Certificate and a Highway Equipment Note in the amount of $65,114 and a resolution with Community Bank (motion by Tony Porter, second by Eric Cota), and (3) a motion to adjourn (moved by Eric Cota, seconded by Tony Porter). All motions were recorded as passing unanimously. No public comment was recorded. The minutes were filed by Amanda Vincent, Town Administrator.
