Trustees flag change orders and safety checks as Victory Park work continues

Village Engineer Adam Bunge updated trustees that construction at Victory Park is underway and the contractor will leave a large boulder at the site. Trustees asked for a site walk to identify change orders, called out fence posts that need removal and raised safety concerns about slide placement near a concrete wall. Trustee Dan Wolf said he has a saw and volunteered to help cut down exposed posts. The Park District requested a revision to place mulch under gym equipment rather than HMA. Adam will check slide clearance and coordinate the necessary adjustments.
