West Linn-Wilsonville SD 3J announces key dates for 2026–27 school year

A presenter for West Linn-Wilsonville SD 3J announced the district’s key dates for the 2026–27 school year, including a "Smart start" on Aug. 27 and classes beginning Sept. 1. "Smart start this year is on August 27, while classes begin for everyone on September 1," the presenter said.
The presenter also gave closing-day and break dates: the last day of classes will be June 11 for primary schools and June 14 for middle and high schools. Winter break is scheduled to begin Dec. 21 with classes resuming Jan. 5, and spring break is set for March 22 with classes resuming March 29. The presenter cautioned that these dates are "subject to change depending on the use of snow days during the year." The announcement also noted several full staff development days when classes will not be held, and that some staff-development dates differ by school level.
