Residents press CAC on berm maintenance and airport manager search

During the public-comment portion of the meeting, Kathy Pelletier requested an explanation "of the process for maintenance of berms and confirmation that this was being regularly conducted." Pelletier also voiced an opinion that a formal search for a permanent Airport Manager might not be necessary given praise for Interim Manager Brendan Nordahl.
Liaison Paul Worcester and Select Board member Bill Keohan responded that the Airport Commission’s search process follows standard procedures and best practices and that foregoing that process could miss potential candidates. Committee presiding member Alan Costello acknowledged that the CAC had not made recommendations to the Select Board on financial articles at the last Town Meeting and said the committee would endeavor to do better going forward.
