The board approved several routine agreements and a donation at the May meeting. Trustees authorized the board president to execute a license agreement with SCOPE for the 2025–26 school year, discussed the board’s historical relationship with that organization and noted the superintendent’s prior service on its executive committee. The board also authorized an MOU with Allied Universal Security and accepted two donations totaling $4,500 (JEF $2,500; yearbook club $2,000) to purchase Jericho flags to hang on campus light posts.
Board members asked about the donation details and were told the flags will cover roughly 71 light posts and that students will participate in the design process. Trustees unanimously carried the related schedules and thanked donors for their generosity.
