Council had no further questions during the motion and the item passed unanimously. The authorization covers program management and a construction contract element intended to support streetscape improvements and utility relocation in the Midtown area. Staff said the authorization is part of a multi-phase project that includes streetscape design, utility replacement, and a master pump station to support future redevelopment and stormwater management.
The city will oversee contract execution and construction oversight through the assigned departments; program-management expenditures are subject to standard reporting and permit approvals.
