Trustees hear EPA inspection notice and approve water‑system repairs

Clerk Melody Hall told the Village of North Henderson board that "the EPA will be doing an inspection on Friday, January 10, 2025 and we should have the report by the next meeting." The notice prompted the trustees to review recent maintenance at the water house, where a backup generator has repeatedly failed its weekly checks.
Hall reported MSI technicians first found the generator had run out of antifreeze and later identified a faulty sensor that "will cost $100.00 plus labor." She also said a contractor known as Tony's repaired wiring left after a pump replacement and returned a rebuilt chlorine pump, leaving the village with two working chlorine pumps. Treasurer Gary Whitcomb and President Ron Brown heard the report; no formal additional funding was requested at the meeting.
The board did not vote on a separate repair appropriation during the session but proceeded with routine business. The EPA inspection date and the sensor cost will be available in the agency report Hall said the village expects to receive at the next meeting.
