The Lake Benton City Council voted July 20 to accept a $10,400 bid from Precision Paving Solutions to complete a paving project after no quote was received from Fuller Paving. Maintenance Supervisor Travis Lustfield told the council he had requested a quote from Fuller but had not heard back and recommended proceeding with Precision Paving.
"He’s heard good things regarding the work that Precision Paving does and wants to give them a try," Travis Lustfield said. The motion to accept the bid was made by Trustee Jon Olson and seconded by Trustee Rosie DeZeeuw; the motion carried and the city administrator was authorized to proceed with contracting and payment arrangements.
