The Nokomis City Council approved Wastewater Treatment Plant IEPA reimbursement #10 in the amount of $157,971.96. Commissioner Arkebauer moved for approval and Commissioner Charles O’Malley seconded; the motion carried with yes votes from Commissioners Morris, Arkebauer, O’Malley and Mayor Goldsmith.
The council also approved a series of motions to remove former Commissioner Stauder from multiple city bank accounts and to add Commissioner Charles O’Malley as finance commissioner on those accounts. The actions covered accounts at First National Bank of Nokomis, Bank and Trust in Witt (accounts X558, X559, X560), and LLCU in Nokomis (accounts X003–X007 and X920). Each motion passed with unanimous yes votes among members present.
