At its Jan. 27 meeting, the Nokomis City Council voted to approve the Jan. 13, 2025 meeting minutes and authorized payment of bills totaling $142,193.57. Commissioner Arkebauer moved to approve the minutes; Commissioner O’Malley seconded. Voting yes on the minutes were Commissioners Arkebauer and O’Malley and Mayor Goldsmith; Commissioner Morris abstained and Commissioner Glenn was absent. The motion carried.
The council also approved payment of $142,193.57 in bills after Commissioner O’Malley moved for their approval and Commissioner Arkebauer seconded. The vote on bills was unanimous among members present: Commissioners Morris, Arkebauer, O’Malley and Mayor Goldsmith. Earlier in the meeting Commissioner Charles O’Malley reported city revenues of $110,171.24, and Commissioner O’Malley said the annual treasurer's report was complete and would be published in the newspaper soon.
