The board approved two grant agreements recommended by the Klamath County Local Alcohol and Drug Planning Committee. The first funds Related & Recovery at $7,500 to host the annual 'Hands Across the Bridge' event and monthly family‑friendly substance‑free activities; the second provides $5,000 to Oregon Recovers to host the annual Walk for Recovery.
Public Health staff said both projects align with the LADPC work plan and the recommended funding levels were approved by the committee. The board moved, seconded and approved both agreements and authorized the chair to sign; fiscal impacts were charged to the LADPC subdepartment 40‑30.
