The Klamath County Board of Commissioners voted to approve a collective bargaining agreement with International Union of Operating Engineers Local 701 covering July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029.
Human Resources presented the finalized agreement and the board moved, seconded and approved the contract. The HR presentation included the estimated county fiscal impact for the operating years: $878,517.66 for fiscal year 2027, $897,553.02 for fiscal year 2028 and $916,121.05 for fiscal year 2029.
Commissioner Nichols thanked HR staff and bargaining team members for their work during negotiations. The motion passed on a voice vote.
