Immediately following the April 23 regular meeting, the Metropolitan School District of Mt. Vernon Board of School Trustees convened an executive session. The minutes record the statutory basis as IC 5-14-1.5-6.1 Section (6) (matters concerning any individual over whom the governing body has jurisdiction) and Section (9) (job performance evaluation of individual employees).
The minutes state that those in attendance were the five board members (Kendra Bisesi, Brittney Butler, Mark Isaac, Greg Oeth and Brian Williams) and administrators Bo Harris and Superintendent Stephanie Stewart. The minutes also state the Board discussed no subject matter in executive session other than what was specified in the public notice.
The district prepared separate executive session minutes, attributed to Superintendent Stephanie Stewart; the regular meeting minutes include the statutory citation and attendance for the closed session.
