Council approves 15-lot long plat and 40-foot lot-width variance at 31434 Prevedell Road for affordable housing

Town building inspector Tony Niskanen introduced Jason Ragsdale, who told council he is interested in purchasing the parcel contingent on the town allowing subdivision. Ragsdale said the parcel was previously approved for 28 multifamily units. He requested a variance from the 60-foot minimum lot width to 40 feet. Tammy Buchanan moved to approve the 15-lot long plat and the 40-foot lot-width variance; Mike Couch seconded and the motion carried with all in favor.
The council did not record additional conditions in the minutes; the approval in the May 12 minutes is recorded as carried unanimously.
