Lyman Car Show volunteers to secure Old Town Hall storage; council to notify Heart to Heart

At the March 10 meeting, Debra Heinzman, Alexis Cameron and Mont Heinzman appeared on behalf of the Lyman Car Show with a multi-part proposal to improve secure storage for official town records at Old Town Hall. They offered to donate labor and materials to install secure shelving, locks, reinforced mesh and a labeled key storage board; they also offered to donate a hard drive to be kept at Town Hall for digital backups and to assist with digitizing records and archiving with the State as required.
The mayor and council accepted the proposal and asked the clerk to send Heart to Heart a 30-day notice to vacate the specific office space to allow the work; Heart to Heart may continue to use the other storage room it currently occupies. The council's acceptance included direction that the town work with the Car Show volunteers to complete installations and establish secure digital backups.
