Heather Wendoff, who said she lives nearby, asked whether making Marconi a one-way street might help; staff noted Marconi is a private street and the city cannot make that change. Henry Halpern, who said he lives at the intersection, urged markings to remind motorists of existing laws and said blocking the intersection occurs frequently. "It's illegal to block an intersection, and that happens here, quite a bit," he told the committee.
Transportation staff said neither of the small streets is especially busy but the proximity of multiple intersection points causes conflicts; they recommended placing traffic control on Indian Hill (starting with a yield sign and lane markings), which the committee approved for 8a. The committee also approved 8b and filed 8c as repetitive.
