A committee member reported that the county manager stopped by at the beginning of the meeting to ask whether the commission needed anything from him or the county. Members said they appreciated the gesture and agreed to note his attendance in the minutes.
"The county manager did stop in the meeting at the beginning of the meeting to ask if there's anything that this commission needed from him or the county, and I really appreciate him doing that," a committee member said.
Staff also noted that despite public advertisement, no members of the public had come to make comments during the public-comment period. Staff asked "Trevor Ames" to sign the certification form so it could be completed and included with the annual report to the county council and the state ethics office.
"Trevor Ames, if you wanna sign this form, I will then, fill it out and make that part of the report that goes to the county government and to the state ethics office," staff said.
