Oakwood Hills board approves hiring of Victor Marroquin as part-time police officer

Trustee Bone moved to approve the hire and Trustee Wise seconded; the roll call recorded Ayes from Trustees Bone, Wise, Ruhnke and Wallace and Trustee Rourke listed as absent. The meeting began at 7:00 p.m. and was adjourned at 7:06 p.m.
Chief Rains provided a brief summary of Marroquin’s qualifications during the discussion; Marroquin then introduced himself to the board and Trustee Wallace commented on the hire. The minutes note that the hiring recommendation had been unanimous at the committee level. Village Clerk Cheryl R. LoSasso recorded the vote and filed the meeting minutes.
