The Village Board approved a purchase of street-name signs not to exceed $3,000 at its Oct. 22 meeting.
Trustee Wise moved and Trustee Rourke seconded the purchase; Trustee Wallace said there would be "35 signs replaces, approximately ½ the Village." The motion carried with Trustees Bone, Wallace, Wise and Rourke voting aye and Trustee Ruhnke absent.
No vendor or installation timetable was specified during the meeting; staff were asked to proceed with the replacement program under the approved spending cap.
