Summary
Trustees approved a $9,692.09 LED lighting upgrade at Village Hall and the park to be paid through a Com Ed grant at no cost to the village; Trustee Ruhnke voted no, citing concerns about brighter lights near neighbors and conditioned the project on an on-site sample light and board approval.

The Village Board approved a program agreement with Green Sky Consulting to install LED lighting at Village Hall and the park at a listed cost of $9,692.09 that the minutes say "will be covered by a Grant through Com Ed at zero cost to the Village." Trustee Wallace explained the upgrade purpose and moved the program agreement; Trustee Bone seconded.
Trustee Ruhnke said she "was not comfortable with brighter lights in the park as there are neighbors who complain about the current light levels at the park" and the motion was made subject to installation of a sample light and approval by all board members. The vote was four ayes (Wallace, Wise, Rourke, Bone) and one nay (Ruhnke).
