The Village of Oakwood Hills Board voted to award the parking-lot contract to Pavement Systems for $227,863.76 after disqualifying two of three bids for failing to provide proof of insurance required by the RFP. Attorney Lisa Waggoner reported the disqualifications after the board’s review, and Trustee Bone moved to award the remaining compliant bid; Trustee Ruhnke seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
President Chad Rider summarized the work scope, saying the project will replace parking lots at both beaches, the municipal lot at Village Hall and the two lots at the Village park. The minutes note that "the work will include replacing the parking lots at both beaches, the municipal lot at the Village Hall and the two lots at the Village park." Trustee Wise was assigned to contact Pavement Systems to arrange contract details and scheduling.
