The board approved a facility agreement with Park and Recreation for use of recreation facilities at a total cost of $15,000 for the 2026–27 school year and also considered updates to building rental and custodial fees for facilities such as the arena and middle-school gym.
Finance staff outlined fee changes including an approximate $5 hourly increase in grouped facility charges, the addition of a 5% admission fee for middle-school gym gate receipts to align charges with other district facilities, and a custodial overtime surcharge of $30 per hour for weekend or late-night events. The board approved the Park & Rec agreement and the fee updates by voice vote.
Separately, staff recommended increasing the adult lunch price to $5.35 for lunch to comply with USDA federal guidelines; the board approved the increase. The student meal price had been addressed in a prior meeting.
