Commission hears radio demonstration for sheriff's office, tables upgrade pending new quote

Commissioners and staff also asked staff to pursue grant opportunities and to seek additional quotes (Weaver said he would contact Motorola for a potential alternate estimate). The minutes record the sheriff expressed a preference for the higher-end unit (a figure cited in the discussion was $70,000), but the commission emphasized the need to identify funding before committing.
