The board approved two resolutions during the Aug. 10 meeting: Resolution 2066 in support of full transparency for taxpayers and Resolution 2067 supporting a fund for Wisconsin public school litigation. Both motions were seconded and carried.
Chair told the board that staff would forward copies of the adopted resolutions to state officials and relevant associations. “We’ll have Anne send a copy of this, to the governor, to our Wisconsin state legislature, to the joint committee on finance and to the Wisconsin Association of School Boards,” the chair said, describing the planned distribution.
Next steps: staff will send the resolutions to the named state officials and associations, and the board anticipates related agenda coordination with the city clerk to put a related item on a city agenda in early September.
