The Warrensburg City Council authorized the City Manager and City Clerk to execute a professional services agreement with Burns & McDonnell Co., Inc. for Phase 2 construction administration and observation services on the Rethink Maguire project. Public Works Project Manager Clifford said the item had a prior first reading on July 13 and that the packet provided additional information, including details about emerging contaminants work included in Phase 2.
Councilmember Jones thanked Clifford for clarifying material about the emerging contaminants grant and the project map; another council member said the added detail provided useful context. Jones moved adoption; the roll call vote was 4–0 and the ordinance was recorded as No. 6040. The contract approval enables staff to proceed with Phase 2 administration and observation under the scope described by Burns & McDonnell in the city packet.
