Board approves juvenile services contract with Logan County and transfers equipment to Children’s Justice Center Authority
Summary
Commissioners approved a contract with Logan County for juvenile services and approved an FY27 assignment with Logan County to the Canadian County Children’s Justice Center Authority. Commissioner Tomas Manske moved, seconded by Dawson, to approve the Contract between the Canadian County Children’s Justice Center and Logan County for Juvenile Services; the motion passed 3-0 (Clerk’s Misc. File No. 26-0804). The board also approved the FY27 Secure Juvenile Detention Services Assignment with Logan County to the Canadian County Children’s Justice Center Authority (Clerk’s Misc. File No. 26-0805).
Separately, the board approved a Resolution transferring an extensive inventory of furniture, cameras, laptops, projectors and courtroom benches from the Canadian County Children’s Justice Center to the Canadian County Children’s Justice Center Authority (Clerk’s Misc. File No. 26-0806). The minutes record the detailed item list and the roll-call vote approving the transfer. The board recorded that no action was taken on the Parent Partner assignment during this meeting.
